PMT

The Post Modern Twin came about during my time off in the winter 2011. It is a blend of the my old Rehash Twin and my egg templates. It features a subtle blend of roll and concave to give it a feeling of instant speed, and the twin set up allows it to be completely free running. The rocker is a natural curve with some acceleration at the fins for tighter turns and critical surfing.

The original concept was 5'6"x20"x2 1/2" and got me into waves up to head 1/2" while still feeling solid off the bottom and top. Unlike a fish this board is very easy to go rail to rail, and will fit into tighter pockets, and arcs allowing very modern surfing without the fear of spinning out. The PMT builds speed easily, and doesn't lose speed in turns like some other designs. It feel more like it carries speed through the turns and simply leaning on your front foot sets it screaming away again.

I would recommend this board for intermediate to advanced shortboarders or fish riders that want a board for aggressive surfing, without having to work hard for speed. This board is simply super fun, fast, and very efficient at creating smiles. Once I made the original, I didn't ride anything else!

It is available as a winged square, swallow or pin tail. Twin or Twinzer fin set up.
